Meet the 19 members of President Obama's Precision Medicine team

Richard P. Lifton, MD

Lifton is chair in the department of genetics, Sterling Professor of genetics and professor of medicine, founder and executive director at Yale Center for Genomic Analysis. He is also investigator at Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, Conn. He is one of three co-chairs of the Precision Medicine panel.

Bray Patrick-Lake, MFS

Patrick-Lake is director of stakeholder engagement for the Clinical Trial Transformation Initiative at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. She is one of three co-chairs of the Precision Medicine panel.

Kathy Hudson, PhD

Hudson is deputy director of science, outreach and policy at the National Institutes of Health. She is one of three co-chairs of the Precision Medicine panel.

Esteban Gonzalez Burchard, MD, MPH

Burchard is Harry Wm. and Diana V. Hind distinguished professor in pharmaceutical sciences, professor and vice chair in the departments of bioengineering & therapeutic sciences. He is also medicine director at the Center for Genes, Environments & Health University of California in San Francisco.

Tony Coles, MD, MPH

Coles serves as chairman and CEO of Yumanity Therapeutics in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Rory Collins, FMedSci

Collins is a professor of medicine and epidemiology at Nuffield Department of Population Health, University of Oxford, U.K

Andrew Conrad, PhD

Conrad heads the life sciences team for Google X in Mountain View, California.

Josh Denny, MD

Denny is associate professor of biomedical informatics and medicine at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Susan Desmond-Hellmann, MD, MPH

Desmond-Hellmann is the CEO of Gates Foundation in Seattle. She is also a professor of medicine at the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine.

Eric Dishman

Dishman is Intel Fellow and general manager of Intel's health & life sciences in Santa Clara, California.

Kathy Giusti, MBA

Giusti is founder and executive chairman of Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation in Norwalk, Connecticut.

Sekar Kathiresan, MD

Sachin Kheterpal, MD, MBA

Spero M. Manson, PhD

Manson is distinguished professor and director of the Centers for American Indian and Alaska Native Health, Colorado School of Public Health, University of Colorado, Denver.

P. Pearl O'Rourke, MD

O'Rourke is director of Human Research Affairs at Boston's Partners HealthCare System.

Richard Platt, MD

Platt is professor and chair of Harvard Medical School department of population medicine, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute in Boston.

Jay Shendure, MD, PhD

Shendure is associate professor of genome sciences at the University of Washington in Seattle.

Sue Siegel

Siegel is CEO of GE Ventures & Healthymagination in Menlo Park, California.
